We rigorously tested all of the top ebook reading platforms for kids to find the best one

Reading is the key that unlocks learning. But all too often kids’ international journal potential love of reading gets ground to dust during the process of reading and literacy development — this can be especially true for kids who need extra support. These frustrations can snowball, transforming books from magical escapes into mountains to climb. And now with YouTube or Minecraft just a tap away, books have the odds stacked against them.

All of this is to say: digital library apps need to be really, really good. They’ve got to have compelling content, offer a frustration-free reading experience, and support features that make reading more accessible and delightful than a paperback. We think our choices below meet, and may even exceed, this criteria — they have the potential to get kids hooked on books and build lifelong habits.

To this end, Epic! also recommends books by age as well as interest. Teachers can assign kids specific books, or even just set general themes students will like, then leave the choosing up to them. These recommendations improve as students rate and review the books they’ve read — one of Epic!’s cooler features.

Design a More Practical Mudroom

When it comes to comprehensive, thoughtful home rumahapa.com, no small space should go unnoticed. Many homeowners often overlook less trafficked areas such as the laundry room and the mudroom when it comes to investing in home decoration. But if you’re looking to create a space that has a thoughtful, cohesive feel all throughout, it’s crucial to show these spaces some love as well. Without investing very much time or money, you can make small changes to bring even the smallest areas of a home to life. Starting with the mudroom, here are some simple adjustments you can make to optimize for both aesthetic appeal and storage utility.

Try installing some type of open shelving if you have the ability to do so. These are extremely helpful storage solutions, especially for families with younger, school-aged children. This is a space where kids can store backpacks, sports equipment or shoes with ease.

You’ve probably seen those open, locker-style storage installations all over Houzz lately. These are especially helpful for separating kids’ belongings, helping them to keep organized in their own special area.

If you don’t have much space to work with, think higher up. Instead of placing storage solutions such as shoe racks or catch-all tables along the floor where they’ll crowd the area and take up foot traffic real estate, try hanging a clean-looking series of coat hooks along a narrow wall. Beyond that, your choice of light fixture is also an opportunity to add some aesthetic interest to a space with few other stylistic opportunities.

Abnormal Heart Chamber Linked to Higher Dementia Risk: Study

Older adults with an upper heart chamber that’s of abnormal size or doesn’t work well may have up to a 35% higher risk for dementia, according to new destilasi uap research.

The condition, called atrial cardiopathy, involves abnormalities in the left atrium, one of the two upper chambers of the heart. The link to dementia is present even if a person has not had heart symptoms, the study authors say.

The research, led by Michelle C. Johansen, MD, of the Department of Neurology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, was published online Aug. 10 in the Journal of the American Heart Association.

Atrial cardiopathy has been linked to a higher risk of stroke and atrial fibrillation (AFib), and because both stroke and AFib are linked to a higher dementia risk, it was important to investigate whether atrial cardiopathy is linked to dementia, the study authors said.

Then, the next question was whether that link is independent of AFib and stroke, and their research suggests that it is.

More Than 5,000 Adults Studied

For the study, the researchers looked at a diverse population of 5,078 older adults living in four U.S. communities: Washington County, MD; Forsyth County, NC; northwestern suburbs of Minneapolis; and Jackson, MS.

Just more than a third (34%) had atrial cardiopathy (average age 75 years, 59% female, 21% Black adults) and 763 of the people studied developed dementia.

Investigators found that atrial cardiopathy had a big link to dementia; people with the heart condition were 35% more likely to have dementia.

Inside the Booming World Where Students Buy Custom Term Papers

It’s easier than ever to hire someone to write your school or college paper for you.

That’s thanks to a booming group of companies known as the “contract cheating industry.”

Many paper-writing companies try to project an air of legitimacy, with offerings free robux web like responsive customer service that let users chat right away with a live person to ask about things like prices. And those prices are pretty consistent—about $10 to $12 per page if you allow the companies a week or more to write your paper. That’s an average of $182 per paper, which in the scheme of college costs, may not seem like that much to a student.

Those are some of the takeaways from a new book, “The Complete Guide to Contract Cheating in Higher Education.” It’s written by someone who spent about 10 years actually doing this work, making a living writing papers for cheating students. His name is Dave Tomar, and these days, he advises educators on how to combat cheating.

Of course, turning in someone else’s work as your own is ethically wrong and a clear violation of every school and college’s conduct codes. (The paper-writing companies get around legal trouble by posting disclaimers and policies that say that students shouldn’t turn in the work as their own.) And a student who does lean on surrogate writers misses out on the whole point of school or college, since learning comes in the process of doing the homework and writing the papers.

So why is this type of cheating so common? What does it say about our education system? And what could be done to curb this contract cheating industry?

On this week’s EdSurge Podcast, we’re exploring these questions and going inside this world of assignment-writers for hire.

Why not to use word press or drupal for my business website

Every once in a while a customer will ask me what kind of platform we use to create our projects and the answer is always the same, “We do not use any platform to create any of our projects” and normally the question that follows is: “Why not to use WordPress”?

The issue in question normally comes when those samasitu had contacted our competition and talked to them about what they use and how their implementations are made. Most of the companies that create and handle website design today had to decide on how to create their work the easiest and most cost effective for them, this does not mean they charge less for their work but it certainly means less work for them.

Let me explain:
We have no particular problems agains WordPress, Drupal, Magento or Open Cart – these systems do exactly what they are suppose to do and,to be fair, they do a great job at it. The problem comes with your project and the company you selected to create it. If you want a blog to write about anything that comes to your mind WordPress and Drupal will work perfectly for you, the same if you want to create an experimental shopping card as a place where you can set a few products and see what will the response of your clients be, here I’ll say grab a copy of Magento or Open Cart or any other e-commerce software available online and go for it.

Now if you are looking to create your company website, something professional, good looking, secure and stable, I will never ever recommend these softwares for it. While these products handle a great chunk of Internet they are mostly over-used and implemented into areas they shouldn’t.

Price vs Security and Stability.
Now you will think that maybe using one of these companies that uses free software to create your project will save you money and that is something to take into consideration. As I explained before most of our competition uses and implement these free software on their clients project but that does not mean you’ll save money just because it is easier for them to create your project. Based on a research made from our finance department less than a month ago, any company using these pre-made platforms to create their projects will charge from 50% to 100% more than what we charge for it.

Doesn’t sound so good right? Well, that is the crude reality of how the market is handled by many companies with very little knowledge on coding, and as in any other market (I guess…). These companies will charge as much as they can for the same job, no matter the size of the job or what you expect to use this project for, the solution will be always the same with a few plugins added to it to make you happy.

Did you mention security?
Yes I did, and this is just one little example of my statement; just a few days ago something that have the potential of changing the status of an entire country happened, I’m referring to the Panama Papers Breach Issue, I’m sure you heard about it…The Panama Papers breach is the largest data leak in history by a wide margin, with 2.6 terabytes of data, 11.5 million documents, and more than 214,000 shell companies exposed.

Based on research outdated, versions of Word Press and Drupal are being blamed for allowing hackers to get into all the publicized information we all know about today. In this article wptavern.com talks about the issue and the research made to backup their statements, also here is a discussion on slashdot.com where you can check more about this problems.

Besides the Panama Papers scandal there are many… many examples online of hacked websites and data breaches because of Word Press, Drupal, Magento, Open Cart and more of this kinda of software.

Business automation tools help companies and their customers by automating repetitive

They free up employees to focus on more strategic projects and provide an auditable trail of data that teams can use to make more informed decisions and apply consistent controls.

Much more than just replacing paper and PDFs with digitized data, business automation factors in the key steps in a company’s workflow and then makes these processes cheaper, faster and less error-prone. By bringing these processes onto one or more technology platforms, companies also get better reporting capabilities and the ability to analyze data over time, then use it for more informed decision-making.

Types of Business Automation

Marketing Automation
Marketing is an important business activity that can be both laborious and costly, making it ripe for simplification through automation.

Through marketing automation tools (which usually take the form of software), companies can generate highly qualified leads that are ready for sales engagement. These tools also provide a framework for teams to target, build, execute and measure the success of marketing campaigns—taking the complexity out of lead qualification and conversion.

Some marketing automation software can automate email marketing processes, allowing companies to better align these campaigns with the efforts of their sales teams. Companies can also use marketing automation tools to track and measure a prospect’s activity, identify when a lead meets known buyer-readiness conditions and deliver leads to sales as soon as they meet predefined criteria.

Marketing automation is useful for companies of all sizes. For example, a smaller company may use the software to develop, generate and send out monthly emails to convey relevant content or offers to a client distribution list. This process can significantly reduce the number of hours spent on customer “touches” over the course of a year.

A larger firm, meanwhile, may want to take advantage of extended marketing automation features, like the dynamic segmenting of an extensive customer database, the targeting of customers with automated messages via social media and text, or custom-built workflows that align with the company’s specific marketing processes.

By automating online marketing and lead generation campaigns, companies can reduce the cost of developing and running these campaigns. This, in turn, helps to create a higher measurable return on investment (ROI) for each of those campaigns.

Business mechanization can expand proficiency across an association

Those vital advantages and others have driven a developing number of associations to inject increasingly more business robotization into their tasks.

What Is Business Automation?
Business mechanization utilizes innovation to remove the physical work from everyday business processes. From employing to email the board to bookkeeping, essentially every edge of a business’ activities can profit from some degree of business computerization.

With business computerization, organizations can streamline and improve work processes. Set forth plainly, the eventually objective is less to supplant human work and more to increase with innovation such that works on the whole, start to finish process.

Significantly more than simply supplanting paper and PDFs with dynamic advanced information, business robotization factors in the vital stages in an organization’s work processes and afterward endeavors to make these cycles less expensive, quicker and less blunder inclined. By coordinating these cycles onto innovation stages, organizations likewise benefit from better announcing capacities and the capacity to examine information over the long run. That data then, at that point, illuminates key choices and assists the business with developing.

For what reason Does Your Business Need to Automate Processes
Computerizing business processes sets aside time and cash, however the prizes of putting resources into robotized frameworks don’t end there. These frameworks likewise assist with diminishing how much labor that it takes to wrap up key responsibilities and permits laborers to zero in on more significant undertakings. For example, when you can computerize your records payable cycles or client support visit rooms on the web, your paid work can fixate its endeavors on more basic, business-building assignments.

Robotization likewise decreases expensive blunders and the time it takes to address them. Most record handling and information section botches are an aftereffect of human mistake.

Business mechanization can likewise bring new degrees of normalization into every day work processes by strolling representatives through itemized advances and following all pertinent documentation. These enhancements can assist organizations with lessening both working expenses and upward.
